The Institute offers a wide range of family and domestic relations programs that focus on the following critical topics for members of communities around the country:

  • Conflict resolution and mediation skills
  • Communication skills associated with conflict resolution
  • Impact of divorce on adults and children
  • Education for divorcing parents
  • Domestic violence
  • Child custody
The Institute also offers technical assistance and consulting in these areas:
  • Development of education programs for divorcing parents
  • Development of court-based custody mediation
  • Program evaluation of direct services
  • Needs assessments of direct services
  • Organizational conflict
  • Survey research
